Besides breeding healthy puppies, our family can be characterized by faith in the Lord Jesus. We strive to honor him in our everyday life, including how we treat other people and dogs.
Our five children (four girls with one boy sandwiched in the middle) are involved in the puppies’ care. Their life outside the home includes at a half day classical school. They enjoy being with animals including horses. And a short trip to the beach for our family is usually a memorable time.
Cherie is living out her passions and her education, too. She feels called to personally lead our children through their years of learning, so we rely on a homeschool hybrid method. Since she majored in Animal Bioscience at Penn State University, she is able to put what she’s learned into practice in caring for our dogs. One day she may end up back in the veterinary field, but for now she’s focused on our 5 small humans and our K9s!
David serves as a staff pastor at Beach Fellowship, a non-denominational church. As far as the doodles, David is impressed with the intelligence that he sees in their attentive eyes when we pet them. He speaks to them like he would a person.
